Thank You Wegmans!

Ask 10 people what I like, and a majority of them will say “Beer”. Then they’ll say “..well, GOOD beer at least. He’s one of them beer snobs”
It’s true. I am. Although I prefer the term Beer Advocate.
I feed my insatiable lust at two places mostly. The Tap and Mallet, and Beers of the World.

My personal assistant helps me at beers of the world.
.
The other day I went to do the family shopping. When I shop, I have my choice of 3 different Wegmans:
If it’s just a few things like bread and Cool Whip, I go to the East Ave store.
When I feel like dealing with snobby mink wearing trophy wives, I go to Pittsford Wegmans.
My third option is the farthest away, but it’s next to a Taco Bell and is full of regular blue collar folks. Penfield Wegman’s.
I haven’t been to the Penfield store in a few weeks because they have been moving all the aisles around and quite frankly it was pissing me off. Just when i knew where everything was, and had a routine going…it all moved.
It was shopping time, and I had a Taco Bell craving so I ventured back to Penfield the other day. As I finished up in the cleaning product aisle at the back left corner of the store, I made a right hand turn to look for paper towels. I went to where I thought I’d find them and almost started crying right then and there. It wasn’t because the paper towels had moved and I was upset….
They were tears of joy!
All that rearranging they were doing that made me shop elsewhere, was done to make room for this:

Oh happy day!

A peek over the many sections

The Belgian Beer Aisle
There it was. The new beer section at Penfield Wegmans. Gotta love it. They have a very impressive selection from all over the world. They even have my most favorite beer ever. I’ll be making many more shopping trips. Thanks Danny. Good job.
Oh…one more thing I discovered while I was there that day. Did you know they still made this?
