Election Action

It’s here. It’s time to make your voice heard. It’s time to vote.

I’m amazed at the amount of people I’ve talked to that STILL don’t know who they are voting for on Tuesday.  “I have to go read some more about it” they say.  As far as the Presidential election goes, there are plenty of resources out there.  Read a freakin’ newspaper, ask your kids, watch The Daily Show, I don’t care.

When it comes to the local elections, even FEWER people know who they’re going for.  I just hope they don’t vote based on the long running smear campaigns both sides have been waging on television.  I can’t wait till Wednesday so I don’t have to sit through all the negative ads while I’m trying to watch Jeopardy. (what?)

So here you go. I’m giving you a link to a cool feature I found in the latest edition of City Newspaper.  It’s called Election Action, and it’s well done. It breaks down the local race for you, and they give their endorsements as well.  The most interesting race for me is for County Clerk.  I’m sure Cheryl Dinolfo is a wonderful person, but Tom Hasman looks like he has some pretty incredible credentials for the job.

When it comes to the race for President, I will say this….IGNORE THE POLLS!  Just because one candidate seems to have a lead over another, get your ass out there and pull that lever!  (Can you tell I’ve been let down before?)
