Sometimes when you grow up in the suburbs, you have no need/desire to learn how to parallel park. This is evident to me every day at work. Our studios are in High Falls. All day long, the spots on the street are filled…emptied….and filled again….with people stopping by to pick up a prize in our lobby.  When all you know are the huge parking lots at the mall, the simple task of parking against a curb can be daunting….evidently.  I have seen so many people spend 3 minutes playing bumper cars before giving up and heading to the High Falls parking garage.  One of my favorite moves is when the driver has a friend get out to “help” them park.  Usually, the friend is even more useless than the driver.
